St Budeaux cycling club was originally founded in 1896 and reformed after
the 1st World War in 1923.
We ride year-round. Normally there are organised rides on Thursdays and Sundays catering for all levels of riders. If there are sufficient numbers the group may split into 2 with a faster (more masochistic?) group which will do a harder (either longer or more hilly) route whilst the more social group follows an easier route. Both groups will meet at the same coffee stop.
Ad-hoc rides take place anytime during the week. Ideally prior notice of such rides will be available on the blog page.
Non members are very welcome to try two of our rides, hopefully try, like, join. We are limited to offering two free rides by the Club’s Insurance policy.
Benefits of joining us include
- Riding with other people and making new friends
- Discovering new routes and coffee shops
- Monthly social getogether at a local hostelry
Membership is currently a £10 per year and application forms are available from the Secretary using the Contact form
The club is affiliated to British Cycling and CTT.
